Will my website or email go down during the transfer?
No. Your existing DNS keeps serving your site and email until the transfer finishes, so there is no interruption.
How long does a transfer take?
It depends on the extension. Many complete within a few hours once approved; some (like .com) can take up to 5 days per ICANN rules.
Do I lose the time left on my domain?
No — for most TLDs the transfer adds a full year on top of any remaining registration, so you never lose time.
What's an EPP / auth code?
It's a password that authorises the transfer. You get it from your current registrar after unlocking the domain. Our support team can help if you can't find it.
Are there domains that can't be transferred yet?
ICANN requires a domain to be at least 60 days old (and 60 days since its last transfer) before it can move. If yours is newer, you can point it to us in the meantime.
